Shady... I found no better translation for the german term I had in mind when rendering gypsyangel's Amberly. The german term is "lichtscheu" what can be literally translated with "light shy" - a term that does not seem to exist.
Shady was the first thing that came to my mind when I unwrapped the pale skins of the "Ladies of London", as more as in Germany this is a term of many meanings. It can describe someone like me who doesn't like the full hot sun but likes the shadow or the dawn better. But it is also a term for what you call riff-raff. There's a bit of both in Laura's new creations. Real ladies, too distinguished to fall for the next best guy who buys them a drink. But there's although something mischief about them.
During the last months I thought that there is hardly any need for another V4 character - hardly... and the Ladies of London are one of those rare excepions.
Technical:
Amberly from Ladies of London by gypsyangel and chevybabe25 (still in progress), the feather collar is the Lyon Collar together with the Lyon hair (DAZ). Few postwork to combine some area renders, the rest left untouched. Camera and light from Perfect Portrait 3 - Eyecatcher.
I had to resize the image massively because the original size (2500 pixels height) required far too high compression that swallowed most of the details and texture quality.
Please excuse the placement of the watermark but I found that I, again, was ripped off by some "Wallpaper" sites *sigh*
