Description
Okay, this is just for fun. I confess to not spending much time on this, but I was fascinated with this app I downloaded for my iPhone, so thought I'd try something simple with it.
First, I threw together a figure in DAZ Studio, posed and lighted it, then saved it as a PNG. (I finally got DAZ Studio to remember where I save things! Yay!!!!)
In Corel Photo-Paint, I added a background picture I'd taken a couple years ago at Hearst Castle in California, making sure that the shadows were falling in the general direction consistent with the lighting on my character. I did a little motion blur on my character's leg, as if it were moving - it's a sloppy job, but I wasn't really trying to create great art at the time.
;-)
Finally, I sent the result to my iPhone, ran it through an app called Halftone, adding some text in the process. Then I sent it back to my computer, made the composite in Photo-Paint that you're looking at now, and uploaded it.
Silly stuff, but I hope you enjoy it. I had fun making it.
As always, thanks for visiting my gallery. ~Robert

Best looked at in Zoom to get the sense of the comic strip quality of the final image.
