I really like the kitty necklace! It takes the seriousness out.Theres not alot wrong to crit but,it could be made more interesting. The shadow looks too shallow making her seem less dimentional. My personal preferance would be to add some warm wood grain and some paper texture to the screen behind as it's hard to tell what it is.The brilliant white fights what should be the brightest white (her face)If a window she would have a halo of backlight and no shadow etc.I would like to see her holding a fan coyly or one finger up come hither. Some gloss on the hair would also look nice. In 3d there always seems to be one more little thing that can be done.Good job though!

I find the combination of Japanese hair & makeup with Chinese clothes to be a little disconcerting. ISO's page has some great realistic kimonos and links to other Japanese pages where you can find a lot of goodies. I agree with the comment about texturing the paper behind her and the lights. The face should be a bit more Asian and a bit less Western to match with the makeup - and the irises of the eyes should be a very dark brown - not the almost amber they seem to be. Still, it's a good picture with great potential.

Her face and hair are incredible. My only suggestion...a low key texture on the screen behind her and maybe a transparency hinting at a scene beyond would have been cool too. Great work!

I really like this image. Her face looks beautiful. And I like her expression. Maybe the background should be a little bit darker. You made a very clean render. That looks great!

One of the most important facts that every artist with the nerve to bare their soul in these often far too critical forums - is that opinions are much like rear ends - everybody has one - unfortunately, many choose to think with theirs. How someone else would render this image is what makes us all different Jutta, and where we to take the...um...advice of others, then not only would our art begin looking all the same, but there would exist no point in painting or rendering to appease one's own feelings and viewpoints. Continue to work exactly as you do now Jutta - it's what makes you - YOU, and not a carbon copy of a thousand others. I'm familiar with a series of images similar to your render that have been used on countless calendars. Your version reminds me of that exquisite work. Excellent in every way - and flaws are only in the eye of the beholder. Keep being you!

I' quite strict on most of poser works, but in this case I'll make an exception:) Very impressive work, though I think breast looks a bit unnatural.
