What a beautifully-intense photograph; I love the color and the light is superb and I love the evidence of insects--the little, tiny holes. What really works is the fact that the light and your focus is so spot on. I agree with Andrea, too, this is a very life enhancing shot. As a tribute it works perfectly because it's not a direct reference to something, but it captures an actual sentiment without hitting anyone over the head with it. That's always a good thing! This is really nice!
