My Wife and I went to see Def Leppard with Heart on August 29th, 2011. This is the 9th time in almost 30 years that I've seen my Favorite Band - Both groups were at the Heighth of their careers as far as the music sounded in my opinion. These Photos were taken by The Denver Post.
I haven't been able to be around, I've been working in two locations and I've had so many things going on in the real world - and in just a couple days I'm leaving my mile high state to go down to sea level to beautiful Florida... I'll be down there away from the net and soaking up the end of my summer days... when I get back to Colorado it's quite possible I'll be stepping out of the car in summer clothes and into snow - lol
TAG IV - has been asked about and I normally start TAG in August, but it will have to wait until I get back from Florida (October) - cause I won't have internet access. If you want to play TAG, I'm starting the hit list - if you're not familiar with TAG, you can look back about a year in my gallery and that is when TAG III was started.

glad you and your wife mike enjoyed this killer band. would have enjoyed going to that show, but no tikies.. love the collage of cool shots mike, thanks for sharing, and hope you enjoy the last days of summer in florida. i think us in colorado will have a harsh winter this year, were due. and awaiting the tag game my friend.

Def Leppard! Good old times! As art teacher, I was fond of their early bodies and clothes "design"...and as a man I was fond of their music!

Great photos, Mike! I love Heart and Def Leppard so much! Would have been awesome to see them together. The heart girls still got it going on, there! :) Hope you have a good vacation - you deserve it! I would do the tag, but working so much, nearly sick with that and moving too in the past few days, but least the new place has a washer/dryer!

Seen them here @ Milwaukee Summerfest 2011....Though Joe Elliott's voice is showing his age I can't say the same for Ann Wilson of Heart...Her voice hasn't skipped a beat in all these years...I'm just happy that some of my 80's bands are still together and touring....give's something for this near 50 year old something to go see every now and then... Excellent Collage Mike!....Have fun in Florida!...

Great shots and you will think me dumb, but although I have heard of them I really don't know their music. We don't get many artists coming this far south so I don't keep up with the many these days. I'm showing my age. Enjoy your trip to Florida and being by the sea.

I've never seen Def Leppard. But I did get to see Heart at the Toledo Speedway Jam a million years ago with my favorite band... TRIUMPH! Looks like a good time, although the sun will probably be better... in a different way.
