Feeling a little Squirrely at the moment, so a shot of Squirrel will do.
Not going to say much here. Started with BW photography many years back (Petri 35mm range-finder). Read a magazine article that said: Shoot! Film is cheap! Took that to heart. With digital photography one can recyle the film ad nauseum.
Interests vary greatly. Generally attracted to large, noisy machinery. Especially older stuff. Very fond of travel shots; particularly new aspects of familiar places and things.
PW is usually done with Corel 9 DCE. Seems to have the power of much more expensive software suites at a fraction of the price.

Great to see one airborn, having just photographed a restored one that will never fly again! I see they have 'Daisy Mae' on the port side too!

This guy did a strafing-type run from bow to stern at just over mast-top height. The roar of the engines was ... very roary. The master of the ship was almost beside himself laughing as he asked: Did anybody NOT get a good look inside that bomb-bay? Unfortunately, the pass was unexpected and too fast for me to get aimed skyward. I just remember the sound and the black blur zipping over. He also did a few broadside attack runs. You can imagine the site of one of these coming at you full bore with all .50 cals spitting slugs.

Excellent! What a fun trip this was for you!

Great shot. You answered my question. They have a Liberty ship in San Pedro, CA and they do trips to Catalina Island in summer with simulated attacks. I haven't gone on one yet.
