Time is a fickle friend It deceives you with whispering passing It is so like an artist's paint It trickles away the newness and strength It sweeps upon you fading and cracking It tickles flaws as it dances silently without your thought It allows you to believe in forever nigh ever revealing its truth It takes from you everything and all you hold dear Without a polite warning it brings you pain of loss With no a word of telling it strips you of words that will never be said Time plays to no ones tune and is eternal within it's own Time is is own reaper that comes to call When you least expect it...
