Description

Amorphium + Poser + Vue d'Esprit + Photoshop (minor clean-ups) I'm a veteran of the 2D section, but this is my first 3D posting. To those who like my more usual style don't worry, I'm not "selling out" (lol) I'm just trying the odd diversion or two here and there I've done little things in Bryce before but have never been happy with them. The skies always seemed too gaudy and "way out", and my pics seemed a bit "pointless" somehow. I've come round to preferring Vue - also I'm tentatively playing with Amorphium which I find useful for abstract shapes, although I just don't "think 3D" enough to try anything particularly ambitious Anyway this is very much "early days" for me in this field and I'm keeping things simple. Maybe I could try and integrate this with my 2D style. That could be fun if it works... I think I was thinking of Roger Dean while doing this. Thanks for looking :-)

Syn, I always enjoy your works, especially series like "Sex Corrosion". And this may be your first 3D submission, but I love this so much! The hazy bare sky, cracked earth, stone figure and the tempetured color, reflective, glassy sheen on those rocks are superb. Knowing the way you work, I'm guessing the next one will be breathless...

I had quick glimpse at your gallery.. and I can say we're honoured to have you here at Vue gallery. I like those Amorphium things on this one.

Very good first. You might find that using 3D will greatly expand your artistic needs and after a while you might not be able to live without it. :)~
