Description
I'm pretty sure most of us remember where we were on 9/11 2001. I remember too...I was on my way to my parent's house, where my entire family was preparing to go to the hospital. My dad had surgery that day. He had cancer. I arrived at the house just in time to see the second tower collapse. And I watched the news stories as they came out in the waiting room. It was pretty scary. My dad came out of surgery and was 'just fine'. But it would be months before we knew how fine he was. I know that 9/11 is a somber occasion, but today I would like to commemorate my Dad's 10th anniversary of being cancer free. Praise the Lord for those kind of miracles. Four and a half years ago, I gave birth to his first and so far only grandchild, and if it weren't for that day, and for those doctors, and especially for the Lord Almighty, he would not have been able to enjoy his grandson. I love you Dad.
God Bless everyone today!
