Surely Andy Whitfield will not be forgotten! His performance in Spartacus was simply wonderful! A loss to the art of cinema and a loss for life! Great tribute to this great actor! Hugs.

I remember Neil Gaiman's Sandman series where the Dream King has a library full of works that were never written... Works that could have been, but never were. I would expect that in the castle of Lord Morpheus there is some stage or theater where brilliant performances that might have been are presented every day. In such a place, I would expect to find Andy Whitfield dazzling the audience with his talent and charisma. Rest in peace.

I know I practically cried--I loved him--he was such a giant talent and will be missed. I am irked that so many fans say they will no longer watch the show out of some misguided loyalty. Andy worked while sick--he also would probably hate to see his hard work go for naught or his actors and friends lose work. If anything, he woulddl want people to keep supporting Spartacus not abandon it...I do hope the show continues on so he last artistic legacy can continue on...

You know for once I was really quite saddened by hearing about a passing of a celeb. Such a great guy, Luis and I kind of watched over this guy willing him to get better for a long time. Very sad news, and a great tribute!!!
