Messmer the Fascinator
Messmer believes he was predestined to work as fascinator to show people the power of the subconscious.

Il faut dire que son timing est particulièrement bon, si on pense au succès de livres comme Le Secret: "Il y a un engouement, c’est vrai, mais je pense aussi que les gens sont maintenant prêts à comprendre ce qui se passe dans leur cerveau", pense celui qui a choisi l’Halloween pour présenter son spectacle à Montréal, après plusieurs mois de rodage. La mise en scène du spectacle a été confiée à François Flamand (qui a notamment travaillé avec Gary Kurtz), et Stéban Sanfaçon, un proche collaborateur du Cirque du Soleil, signe l’univers burlesque et magique dans lequel le fascinateur évolue: "C’est un spectacle-réalité dans lequel les gens sont les héros. Je vais de village en village pour inviter les citoyens à monter sur scène afin de leur faire vivre le maximum d’aventures possible." En tout, 20 personnes ont l’occasion de monter sur scène durant le spectacle. Messmer affirme qu’après leur expérience, elles ressentent un grand bien-être: "Quand je leur dis: "Vous marchez sur la Lune", elles se voient vraiment sur la Lune, elles se sentent vraiment en état d’apesanteur. C’est un feeling qu’elles ne peuvent pas vivre autrement qu’avec cette suggestion-là", dit celui qui a choisi de ne pas divulguer son vrai nom ou son lieu de résidence parce qu’il arrive souvent que des gens l’approchent pour des consultations privées.
