WHAT a super view! Yes, Katja is spreading herself about a bit, and I have the TV aerial men coming today. I hope they don't get blown off the ladders!

I like this a lot. We should collaborate on a story. The title you have chosen for this piece has the exact sound of a wonderful novel! I've read some Czech novels with similar titles! I think we could make zillions in Denmark! Now, as for this shot, it's superb! I love the angle and the "open" feeling I get when seeing this. The clouds in the distance look like they're marching in a cloud parade. As for Katja, it's funny: Kača is the same name, only in Czech, and one of my best friends (and my former boss in Prague) is named Kača, actually, she's Kača-1...Kača-2 went elsewhere, and Kača-3 is another good friend with sloppy handwriting. Anyway, when you mentioned Katja's visit, I immediately thought: What, Kača's going somewhere? She didn't tell me that and I just chatted with her yesterday! And then I realized that my reality and the real-world are two different places.

I just love your landscape, and am so eager to see it in person one day! The shape of the hill against the water, those fluffy, regular clouds that proclaim relatively flat land below, the colors of the countryside ... it calls to me in a sweet Danish accent! :) Beautiful photography.

this was the kind of photograph that first drew me to your gallery before I even knew you painted, drew or anything else you did. (It's a long list!) It has sweep, simplicity & clarity. And that sense of "layering" that you get in many of your broad Danish landscapes. Ie, first the amber grasses (from bottom to top), then the green grasses, then the ambers, then more greens, ambers, etc. And in the background? The blue water, hills & sky---with that beautiful line of cumulus (bulgy) clouds, topped by the soft sweeping cirrus clouds. It's a grand layer cake of beautiful & peaceful layers in your beloved Danish landscape. Beautiful shot, and I think what americans commonly think of when they think of Denmark. I remember so many of these back in 2008, when I first found this gallery & thought, what clarity and sweep you have in your eye. I had no clue how far that eye went, back then, or in how many directions...
