Description
Had the railing done for a while. just had not downloaded off of the camera. the original view of the stairwell pre-railing is here.

I basically took a normal hand railing from Lowe's and reworked it to fit over the steel railing.
I have a new ship design I have been pecking at, but since I have a real job once again (contract at Starbucks Corporate in South Seattle), I am suddenly busy again since I'm seeing activity on the part-time projects as well.

thx; my first shot at pulling together a custom railing... The rail at the top was a SERIOUS pain. The steel railing has a slight right -> left curve, plus a convex hump, AND it has a curve at the joint (as opposed to a miter cut).

Wow, looks nice. Clever idea to make use of what's there, but still spruce it up a bit. Good workmanship!
