Description
it took going out to a friend's parent's home for a company annual picnic to get several captures of a dragonfly. This fine specimen literally posed for me for about 8 shots.

We had six little baby's in a row on my clothes line out back..was so dam cute...but of course by the time the camera was ready they booked it for high Country :-(

if you see one on something try approaching from the rear with little noise.as long as you do not make sudden moves they will let you approach.if they do fly, just hold your ground because they often return to the same spot
