Description

Yes, I've been away for a LONG time. Among other things, my church sent me for a time on a mission to the state of Michoacán, Mexico. This is one of the most violent places in Mexico with multiple drug cartels gunning each other down in a turf war, and all of them battling the Mexican government. And innocent people are being caught up in this meat grinder. As usual, the most innocent and vulnerable are bearing the brunt: The very young, the very old, the impoverished, the disabled. I also sponsor children in Africa and the story is nearly the same: Armed thugs running most of the countryside while people wait to die either in stupid gun battles or in the huge famine wracking the continent. Are there no more great nations? Are there no great leaders? Many of us have shed tears for the plight of the people, but it is not enough. So pray for them, pray as you never have before. And do what you can to make the so-called leaders of our nations see this as an issue they can no longer ignore.

They are acts of this nature that make the bigger man my friend, gratifying to know their humanitarian attitude and repudiate all of this violence that is killing off the future and the children of one thousand for you hoje.Aplausos The work is a striking portrait, which must move and wake up people in order to stop all this violence that only a great artist like you could accomplish, brilliant.

It saddens me how these evil ones can put their own people in such dire straights. I have been praying that something happens. We need the whole world to say that this is enough, it cannot go on! Heartfelt render to illustrate your experience! I admire the lighting and the expressiveness. Bless you!

Selfless people like you make the difference. I applaud your commitment and generosity. It is sad and more than frustrating. My worst feeling is, this will go on for years. We as a world population may clean things up someday, but I fear that is a long way off. It does not destroy my hope or ability to see when a good thing happens, but it is frustrating.

It is good to see you post again. I've missed your art. This image and your first hand witness account brings tears to my eyes. How sad for these poor people to live in fear every minute of the day. I'll be praying for them all, for the world. It makes me ashamed for the complaining I do about small inconveniences. I will also give thanks for people like you who go and do what you can to help. God bless you and keep you safe.

The facial expressions speak volumes...I used to hope that I would live long enough to see the world come to peace and understanding. I know now I won't see it, but now I pray that my grandchildren and my great grandchildren will see that come to pass. A powerful and emotion packed image, done beautifully.

what a wonderful dead and render, Larry, and hmm, I sometimes definitly fear, there are no more great leaders or nations and it is entirely up to us doing in our small places what we deem right...
