Elephant, Big Bull enjoying green leafs
In a quiet area in the Etosha national park we found this lonely bull. He was not that friendly, however, as soon as I TURNED OFF THE ENGINE OF OUR CAMPER, HE RELAXED , but with the engine off it is difficult to escape with high speed, because he was very nearby, about 10 meters!!! After approx. 15 minutes he disappeared in the bush, it is amazing to see how easily then can disappear in front of you, just a few meters into the bush and he is gone!!
Photo is taken from our camper when we drove through the Etosha national park. We have seen only a few (very large) elephants and an overload of other species of wildlife in this huge national park . We spent 4 days (3 nights) in this fantastic national park in Namibia.
We made in May / June 2011 a trip through the southern part of Africa ( RSA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia) .
