This image is dedicated to my dear friend Angel. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful friend. Your courage, forthright nature, humor and imagination have been, and always will be, an inspiration to me. I’ve been working on this image off and on for over 4 months. My first challenge was to create doors for Winnston’s River Cottage that could open, which was no easy task because I had to do it all in Poser Pro 2010, so I did some unorthodox “propifying”, but I finally figured it out and I’m happy with the results. The subject of this image is the lead character in a story written by my friend Angel. The story is based, at least in part, on characters in some of my other images like “Welcome” and “Still There For The Taking.” I’m still amazed she could write such intricate characters and a wonderful story using only a few images, but she did. That’s why I wanted to make sure I got Thailia just right. After several weeks of emails back and forth across the pond, a couple test renders and fine-tuning, I was able to get Thailia to look like the author’s vision and that was a great feeling.
