I like the way in which these two seem so stark! This is a really eye-grabbing image that works so well on a contemplative, emotional level. Animals make the best models, don't they? Great lighting in this scene and a wonderful light/dark relationship. Marvelous.

It looks like a take-off - for this young couple - flying home to their nest ... a very peaceful scene, well done - just what is that 'ball' in the enclosure ? BB

Beautiful capture, I saw these birds for the first time a few weeks ago in Tofino, B.C. They gave me the creeps haha beautiful shot, though- thanks for sharing! :) By the way, have you checked out the Halloween Photography Contest! "Zombie Apocalypse!"
