Description
We created a new service for our youngsters,first to keep ‘em off the streets and second to teach ‘em something.Every afternoon the curious bus brings the kids from downtown up to Oom Maliks Gnome-House where he is the man in charge of teaching the kids something useful.
We provide this service for free,as we cut some wages and diets from our politicians pay, for financing,they all agreed (unless they wanted to be fired and having their accounts frozen by the peoples council lol)
And there is also a bowl of soup ready just in case someone is hungry as kids intend to.
The other day I saw on tv how many kids in so-called civilised and rich countries are neglected by their parents,no reasonable meals etc.
I can say my parents never neglected me,my father gave me my regular beating a few times a week,and my mother washed off both her and my tears after she received a beating as well.hehehe,but we had food and clothing everyday.
I am glad I came out of this madhouse safe and fairly sane (what sane?? the cyberdoc??no way-sometimes I doubt my sanity mwamwa),my other brother committed suicide after a 30 year drug and jail career,and the other one is a religious fanatic,
My sister and me received maybe the better part of the Genome-Pool so to speak.

A most funtastic scene and a most altruistic wish that the politicians should take a pay cut to pay for the needs of the young! I like that idea! Sounds as though your own history wasn't always as pleasing as this scene depicts! I am sorry to hear that, but you have managed to survive this long and that is no small accomplishment in this day and age! Fine artistic creativity here, Rene! Most delightful!!!

Quite a tale here Rene and it's good to know someone is watching out for the Kiddies well being ! My Mother and I ran away from my abusive Father when I was very young, so I really have no respect at all for those types and the only one I can depend on in this crazy world is her...Thanx Mum ! ~Cheers~

Such a wonderful scene Rene, and the idea of the politicians contributing to the care of children is such a nice idea. Your upbringing sounds very very familar. You have done well to have overcome your rough start and moved on to sharing the love of a wonderful lady and Biggi plus now Pixie.

In this country so many children probably fall on both sides of the scale - the underfed - just not enough food or money for clothing. The ones with busy parents who cannot afford enough time to cook nutritious food, so they get lots of fast food and junk food instead. The lucky ones get the nutritious meals cooked and enough food. My parents didn't spare the rod either, but my dad never hit my mother, fortunately. Anyways, wonderful picture! Love this one!

Our politicians are earning over 200% more than the median income in their respective states, they are ineffective as government and still they are complaining that they don't get paid enough! This despite the fact that they have "funds" which they don't have to account for which can raise their "pay" to about 1.4 MILLION dollars a year of money out of the publics's pocket. Yeah! Anyway, another great image, Rene.
