Very sad! It's iconic objects like this, along with the red bus, the red post box and the London Taxi, that gave Britain its image, they're all dissapearing or gone now....says it all! I intend to buy one of these phone boxes for my garden, my small part that is forever England,I think they are around £1000 (about $1800) but its a price worth paying to keep a little bit of a better past. Thank you for this photograph, even though its, to me, a little melancholic.
