Description
Having been totally amazed by the recent shot of Saturn taken by the Cassini orbiter, I'm trying to re-create the scene in Vue. This doesn't come close, but still has some interesting elements; the ring, viewed from above, appears flat and transparent, but the doughnut-shaped shadow cast by the sun reveals its volume. The planet is an invisible light object with it's ramped-up intensity and volumetric properties still visible, tethered by a short attenuation value to the confines of the light-globe itself. Thanks.
