Description

Vue8Frontier/Photoshop Another retro-scifi rocket...this time in Vue. The image started out as an exercise in booleon modelling in Vue,and then my daughter suggested that there should be more women explorers and their ships in scifi images. She suggested the hot pink colour,and then my wife upped the anty and dared me to post it as a pink rocket.Well,not being one to back down from a challenge...here is the final result. The rocket is composed of various primitive shapes,and some negative cut-out booleon modelling.The pink metal is a modified Vue preset metal,tweaked in the Material Editor.Thesky is a preset sunset that I modified to create a daylight sky.The custom terrains are textured in two preset desert materials.Rendered in Superior setting at 1400x1000(max size in Vue8Frontier),I added a slight postwork levels adjustment in Vue.Postwork in Photoshop consisted of signature and resizing.Thanks for viewing and any comments,and stay tuned for future images with this rocket as it travels the universe.

Well at least it stands out against the landscape. Hot pink is probably a good lifeboat color. Not a lot of natural objects that shade...

Nice, the rocket is funny and well modelled. Very nice environment (terrain and atmo). Maybe missing some life forms (retro pink cosmonauts or pink aliens ...). well done anyway.
