Description

Nycticorax nycticorax I found these at Reid Park. Tucson, Arizona, USA, by the larger pond. There were 15 altogether. There were two kids fishing in the pond, and whenever they caught a fish, they'd throw it to the birds. These are expectantly, and I mean EXPECTANTLY, awaiting the next fish. The story finishes with the next image.

LOL yeah the birds around here get that hunched neck thing going too, especially when they are getting angry!

They have the wickedest looking eyes of any birds I ever saw. Excellent image showing their aggressive behavior.
