Description
When I saw Susannes (Feliciti) photo of ducks yesterday it reminded me of a photo I took about 2 years ago so I dug it out. This duck kept sinking. He kept going down by the bow until he was underwater and then he'd fight his way back up and then start sinking again. Strange.

diving ducks and puddle ducks- diving ducks actually dive underwater to eat off the bottom and puddle ducks "tip down", their front half goes under and they munch off what is in reach and their rear end sticks vertically out of the water- done munching, they rotate back up
