Good job. Ilike it. I have been thinking about something like that with a current photo of a house I grew up in and ghosting in pictures of the family when they were younger... Someday.

It might take some doing, but maybe lightening her skin ... making it more pale and transparent ... would be worth trying. It's a fabulous idea, and if you hadn't said you weren't totally satisfied, I wouldn't have noticed!

This is excellent. I love the concept and the execution. As a normal photograph, without the winner of Miss Ectoplasm 2011, it's fantastic, and with the ghostly figure, it's absolutely fantastic. I'm satisfied with it, but in the interest of tweaking (depending on what program you use) I'd go with Tara's suggestion of selecting and lightening the skin bits a bit and maybe varying the transparency, which basically takes cutting and pasting at various opacity levels. It's easier to do than it sounds, and I've found that one object with different opacity levels looks deliciously ghostly...As this image stands now, it's really fantastic and so the only tweaking I'd do would be in terms of just playing around.
