Whitesnake is one of my favorite bands who have been going for the last 30 years...the lead singer, David Coverdale turns 60 today so I am here to wish him a VERY Happy Birthday!!! And yes, hehe this is the show we got to see!!! ;-)
On a side note:
I also wanted to say thank you to everyone for the comments I've gotten on my daughters kitten Brucie's and my puppy Tifa�s pic's. I am slowly catching up on comments, it�s so darn hectic all the time here that I �ve not been around much in the last year...and to be honest there is also this; I don't like all the nit-picking and other BS that goes on here. People are supposed to be able to put up their art/images up FREELY...allot of folk (when others do not) get crapped on because someone 'saw' something that offended them etc. That's all so stupid to me. I've got enough unwanted drama in my life, let alone finding more here. This is supposed to be an outlet for me and I'm sure for others to get away from real everyday stress. People need to grow up and not be looking for something else to grumble about around every corner. Life is not what they show on television no matter how much they claim it to be a reality show�in real life we can use a little common sense instead of reading a script. Everyone has different standards in their life and everyone is FREE to their own opinions...so maybe people should let other members be THEMSELVES! You never know what is going on in their life that made them who they are and post what they thought was a great idea until someone shot them down. Just a thought...

Brilliantly put hun!!!!!! You area star pointing out what most Rendo folk want and know.. The fact that that a few people who 'own' this site have views of their own does not mean they should not shove them on everyone else! And the same goes for Rendo folk! If you don't like, DON'T LOOK! Well put Rose..good on you...great shot of the old boy as well. Your so right about the everyday issues......look at me, not mailed you or the other old git you hang about with for so long it's embarressing !!!!! (did i spell that right ?, us old un's can forget sometimes )....hope your well...must remember to mail you and the other half...waht was his name again, darn if i can remember...now where did i put that pen ? Did i mention it was a wonderful shot ?

I totally agree Rose and we have lost a lot of great artist this year because if it. I do , do this to escape my real life and I don't really care what people say. I listen to the positive ones, the ones who try to help me become a better artist and I just ignore the negative. Hope your doing well. I for one really miss you not being here as a regular. Fantastic shot !!!

'nuther great shot, did you know that Glenn hughes just turned 60 in august? another awesome singer.....show these kid's a thing or two ah, even at their age! firstly, compliments on a great shot. secondly, I agree with you Rose. it is, and has been my contention as long as I have been a member here at 'rosity (some 10 years now) that this is a community of ARTISTS, and as such there should be nothing that offends anybody, with OBVIOUS exceptions which we will not enter into here. yet we are constantly reminded that we, as artists are censored, nowhere is this more apparent than in the way 'rosity has changed over the years, nudity/violence in thumbnails was a CHOICE that had to be selected in your profile whereas not it is not allowed at all. For a world where a picture paints a thousand words, and free speech is valued, we are sadly, silenced, by the holier than thou, do-gooder crowd. The solution is simple IMHO, if it offends you, don't look at it, but do not silence the voice of the artist because it says something you do not like. Just my two cents.

We are all well and granddaughter is doing really well she is talking now, growing like a mushroom and so lovely just a pity they moved to Australia so don't get to see her except on Facebook photos or Skype :-(.. glad too here your's are ok and yeah they do grow up soooo fast lol.. P.s. I agree with you also, this should be a place to enjoy and appreciate others art, to much BS in this world in R/L don't need it in our art life's too..

Nice shot of the old bloke! The only member that I find is contentious around here is that debbielove. He's always posting photos of all those 'machines of war', and plus he wears these really swarthy sunglasses that obviously mask his devilish eyes. And he's a Nikon shooter, but don't even start me on that.........;)

Right on! You go girl! My contention from day one of my membership on this website, Rosie, which went from liberal arts all the way to the anti-nudity reign of Queen Victoria in the late 19th century. But I digress. I never heard of Mr. Coverdale, but you did him a great BD honor with this splendid photo, replete with terrific clarity, contrast and lighting effects.
