Description

This is a promo image for a magazine I'm working on. A promo for a "Retro Pulp" story under the pen name "Max Feral", a classic "African Explorer meets cannibals" thing. Based on movies I watched as a kid that were from the 50s and showed (Cheap due to PC banning them from major film lines) in my small town theater. Sadly, it's like none of these movies ever existed. This promo cover is more inspired by 60s/70s "Action" movies and Johnny Quest style stuff. Michael 2 morphed into an African with some RDNA tribal props and a lot of postwork. The mag will be a combination of classic Pulp sci-fi/fantasy stories and "Men's Adventure" mags from latter decades. IMO, we need a "Pulp" label and a "Fantasy/Sci-Fi" label for image searches. Put it in fantasy since I guess "Adventure Fiction" falls in there and while it's in the pre-WW1 era in a nebulous setting it's not clearly "Steampunk".
