Description

Just back from the holiday up in the Lakes. This is from the valley (known as "Hartsop valley") that we stopped in. I first took a picture of this in the days of film about 20 years ago. I lost the print and neg somewhere in a house move, along with many others. It was so strange to see it again with the leafy roof. I'm sure it has grown since, as I cannot recall anything but slate before. Still it was a while back and I'm not sure what I was wearing yesterday!

What an incredibly beautiful scene! I would so love to live right there, it's the most perfect spot I could possibly imagine. LOVE the leafy roof and stone building!
