I work with Poser and Bryce, sometimes Carrara... and I love to do postwork in Photoshop.
I love to create fantasy and horror art and then some surealistic stuff from time to time.
Influences are Joachim Luetke, Travis Smith, Dan Seagrave, HR Giger, Hugh Syme, Frank Frazetta, Ken Kelly, Boris Vallejo and some of the "new guys" like Markus Vogt, Philip Straub, Alp Altiner, Meats Meyer etc.

Nice work overall, but something about the nose... The flesh has too fine a line before the darkness of the hollows. If there's a way you could darken or tone down the shades between the streak of highlight and the defined edge of the blackened sinuses, the implied curve that would result around the nose will emphasize its 3D realism. (As is, it looks like the skin is paper-thin, and it injures the effect.) A great mood-setter for upcoming Halloween!

To me, the paper thin skin adds to the feel of this...almost as if you reach out and poke it, your finger will sink into the meat underlying and rotting away below. Great idea, and I like the sharpness of the lighting; adds to the stark and gritty tones to me.
