Description


Euptilon ornatum. I found this little guy in my house the other night. I think he was about 2 inches long. The pattern of beauty is amazing! As juveniles, these look very different. They dig a hole in the sand, and outfit it with sloping sides like a funnel. When an ant slides in, they have lunch. Next picture is a detail shot.

I like the fuller view of the body and the interesting background as well. This is fantastic. I especially like the colors and the patterns. Fantastic work.
