Description
This photo was taken at Roxborough Park, a State Park located in The Denver Metro Area. Yes it is Fall so I thought I'd get You in the mood for in My opinion, the most colorful time of the year. Roxborough Park is known for its colorful rock formations and wonderful hiking trails. Thanks for stopping by.

There is a big difference in the brightness of the colors in the full-sized view. They are a lot more vibrant. I like it both ways, vibrant and gentle. Superb composition and colors. I love the winding path and fence, the black/gray trunks against all that color, and the blue-gray trees and red cliffs. I like Autumn the best too. We don't much tree color here, but sometimes we get blessed relief from the heat. Beautiful Capture!

Gorgeous Bob...we're planning to drive through this area in a few days...probably through the Colorado Springs area but I heard snow fell south of Denver today (er, yesterday). One way or the other, I must agree with you...fall colors really liven up the place before all those beautiful golds, browns and reds fade away.

Idyllic. I used to visit Colorado so often, but I've got several balls-n-chains shackled to my legs now...sigh. Hope to see these places again.
