Juluntu ist besiedelt mit etwa 4 millionen Hark. Die Hark leben in kleinen Kolonien, die aber alle miteinander verflochten sind. Ihre Kolonie ist ein lebender Organismus, mit dem sie in Symbiose stehen. Auch die Tiere, die auf Juluntu leben, dienem dem grossen Ganzen. Juluntu hat eine schwefelhaltige Athmosphaere. Menschen koennen hier nur mit Atemgeraet ueberleben. Allerdings gedeiht auf Juluntu eine sehr fruchtbare Fauna. Diese hatte schon oefter Begehrlichkeiten geweckt. Besonders als vor 70 Jahren die grosse Hungersnot auf Mayn ausbrach.
