Description
This is another part of the garden at the Pope Estate. Here is the back and side of the main house there. You can see the Lake between the trees. South Shore, Lake Tahoe, California

I love the dappled light in this; I think that's what really makes this work for me. I mean, the composition is marvelous, as is the crispness...but it's the light and shadow play that really does it for me. I love stuff like that; it's always what draws me into an image, aside from color (or starkness.) Really nice work.
