Description

Things To Do While Downloading Poser Pro 2012 Clean out the closet - in every room in the house. Mow the lawn - yours and all your neighbors. Watch the entire extended DVD collection of "The Lord of The Rings." Twice. Read a novel. Write a novel. Redecorate your living room. Play a game of Monopoly - maybe two. Go golfing. Go fishing. Go fly a kite. Go jump in a lake. Set up a stand and sell hard hats to people concerned about satellites falling out of the sky. Render something in Vue. Watch paint dry. Prepare a feast for homeless people. Wait for the Chiefs to win a football game. Wait for Congress to do something useful. Count the grains of salt in your salt shaker. Count the number of Na-na-nas in the song "Hey Jude." Count how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall. Count how many times RodS has used The Girl 4 in a render. Count how many times renecyberdoc has used the morphing condom in a render. Write a list of really stupid things. Stick your tongue into a light socket. The download should be finished by the time you get out of the hospital. Become engrossed in a book on calculus. Figure out Pi to the 100000th decimal place. Hit yourself in the forehead with a hammer repeatedly because it feels so good when you stop. Engage in a discussion of string theory with Dr. Stephen Hawking. Figure out the number of flame variations you can create with Apophysis. Well, now you know what I've been doing all night...... Jeeze, this thing is massive! 8 hours to download all the files... All joking aside, though... My first assessment of Poser Pro 2012? It absolutely, positively, ROCKS!!!! The improvements in lighting alone are well worth twice the price and the download time! This is just a bit of playing around, getting used to PP2012. I used a point light on top of the lamppost - I just about fell out of my chair on the first render! This lighting - where one side of the face is in full light, and the other side has that small triangle of light under the eye - is referred to as "Rembrandt lighting" is photographic circles. I was never able to get really nice Rembrandt lighting in P8. First try with PP2012! Someone commented in one of the forums that PP2012 was like having "A pocket-sized bagginsbill built right into the software..." That was enough to sell me, right there! I'm well into production on the next installment of the Girls From TNA - hopefully, I'll be able to update a little more often. As always, a BIG Thank You to everyone for all your comments, faves and support! I keeps me going! :-D
