Captured 8/3/11, at the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Extremely ZOOM worthy.
For relatively blur-free shots, I supported my elbows atop the second floor railing and clicked away to record these pics of the crowd and human-feeding section of the huge lobby below, plus the full scale model of a blue whale in photo #5.
And, no manipulative fiddling with aperture and shutter speed in this series. I just set it on the indoor photo setting of my Canon PowerShot SX20 aim-and-shoot camera, and hoped for the best, especially considering the constant movement below. Photo #2 not the greatest clarity-wise, but that's the way it goes.
Incidentally, I was surprised to read that the Aquarium, with all of its competition throughout the area, was the second leading family entertainment attraction in Southern California. With the tons of two-legged urchins in attendance, I can attest to that. No mention who was number one, but I assume that would be Disneyland.

It does look a busy place! Love that big blue whale coming at you! Nice work getting these shots of the feeding frenzy...were they eating fish sticks?

Nice shots, I visited this aquarium a couple of years ago and it is everything you say. A really great way to spend the day looking at their amazing collection of sea life.
