Howdy,
There is not a lot about me to know, I am a wife of 46 years, mother of three and grandmother of five. I got my first computer in 99. That was when I began my journey to fill my time doing something creative. I began writing my thoughts in poetry and in 2007 published a book of my poetry titled "Stairway To My Dreams." I learned how to build a web page and learned how to design my own graphics and I learned HTML. My friend suggested I put up some of my graphic designs for other to use so I started my Graphics By Doris site. In my quest to find good graphics to use with my designs I found Renderosity where I bought beautiful backgrounds and tubes from the talented artist here. I then got Poser to learn how to make my own tubes. I didn’t start to learn Poser right away because I discovered I had cancer so I had surgery and radiation treatments. When my treatments were over I began to learn how to use Poser last summer [2009] with the help of my friend Pamela Delli Colli. I have came a long way in Poser but still have much to learn. I want to thank you all for viewing my images and for your comments on my work. May God bless you all with love, peace & happiness. You can find my book at Publish America:

♥ Love it & I love Flamenco too, hug's from Spain! http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flamenco Flamenco is a genre of music and dance which has its foundation in Andalusian music and dance and in whose evolution Andalusian Gypsies played an important part.[1] The cante (singing), toque (guitar playing), dance and palmas (handclaps) are the principal facets of flamenco. In recent years flamenco has become popular all over the world and is taught in many countries - in Japan flamenco is so popular there are more academies there than in Spain.[2][3] On November 16, 2010, UNESCO declared Flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.[4] There are questions not only about the origins of flamenco, but also about the origins of the word itself. There are many theories (summarized below), but no solid evidence for any of them. The word was not recorded until the late 18th century. George Borrow asserted the word flemenc [sic] is synonymous with "gypsy".[citation needed] Blas Infante, in his book Orígenes de lo flamenco y secreto del cante jondo, suggests the word may derive from Andalusian Arabic fellah mengu, "Escapee Peasant", referring to the Muslim Andalusians (Moriscos) who decided to stay and mix with the Romani newcomers when their lands were expropriated because of their religious beliefs. Other hypotheses include "Fleming, native of Flanders" (Du. Vlaming). Spain ruled Flanders for many years, and King Carlos I[disambiguation needed] brought with him to Madrid an entire Flemish court.[citation needed] "Flama"[5] in Spanish means "llama" which is flame or fire, and "enco" or "endo", is a suffix which means a quality-of, or having a-similarity-to, or pertaining-to.[6] So, it is suggested the word originated from flame and fire in order to convey the deep, flaming, passion expressed in Flamenco music, song and dance.
