Description
A Pair of 1950's built Standard locomotives about to depart with a train on the Llangollen railway in North Wales . I remember seeing these engines rusting away in a scrapyard in 1968 , so it is great to see them years later after much hard work and time has been spent on them to get them to the condition they are in today ! Very fine catch of the steam atmosphere! A steam locomotive must roll on, not sleep in a museum or depot.... Nice to hear that there are enthusiasts to keep them alive: We have such enthusiasts here in Germany, too! Fine people... Thanks for sharing!
