Description

I was at lake martin and took this shot. Lol I forgot to set the camera to diff settings so a lot of the landscape shots did not come out right. that how it goes at times. They fix the computer as I find a local shop to get it done. One time i went to Best buy and they say they just sent them off somewheres. plus they could not find nothing wrong with it as it was working fine at the time. All week end i could not get it working so i brought the computer to the local shop and you guess it it started to work right. But he say to leave it there and he looks at it. he called me up and say he find a short in the wireing going to my computer, I do not know what the name of the black box on the wireing to the computer is called but that was it. Cost me $60.

Sounds like your power source became defective from your description of unit and the price. Sounds about right. Glad you got it repaired and are back in business! A most wonderful nature view again! This POV is very nice indeed! Great looking photo! Bravo, Jocko!!!!

Something we have in common Jock, spanish moss and black water swamps. ;) They both make for great reflection. BTW Gators love black water, it makes it hard for thier prey to see them just under the sufface. Excellent capture! The black box on the power cord is called a tranformer, it convert AC current to DC current. The one inside the computer is the Power-supply.

Amazing. I love the darkness surrounding the moss-beard. The moss itself is fantastic as it's right in the light, providing a nice focus for this image. This is really well composed and I love the mood this has. Really nice!

Super Spanish moss effects contrasted and reflected amidst the blackness of Lake Martin. And, yep, the black box is a transformer, just like kbrog said.

Great looking shot here Jock, and so glad to hear he found out what was wrong with your computer. Not a huge fan of the best buy geek squad either.
