Description

Thank you so much for your truly cool character! I am really enjoying playing with her, just has my imagination racing with ideas. This is an homage to the classic horror film, 'Bride of Frankenstein' based on Mary Shelley's books and starring Boris Karlov as Franknstein's monster and the bride was played by Elsa Lanchester. If you haven't seen it, then you need to. It is a must see movie! Went for a more painterly look. I used a dynamic robe, but it didn't have nearly enough wrinkles so I used the push took to put some in. Upside down hair, morphed and then overpainted. The face of the monster is from a photo I found on the web - but I applied some filters to it. Hope you like! Now I will collapse into bed! Nice graphic effect in b/w! And you've got such a great "old" movie style in your image, and I just love how you've managed to paint the hair and wrinkles on the robe... Great horror mood in this quite romantic scene! :) Vashek
