First I want to thank all who have commented on my last picture "Ezio"! Thank you!
Probably no pharaoh has captured the imagination like Tutankhamun.
It was probably because he was found with his grave full treasure. However, I do not at some curse of the Pharaoh. At least it is known that Tutankhamun was the son of Pharaoh Echnaton.
The true birth name of Tutankhamun was actually Tutankhaton. Because his father was later deleted as a heretic in history and instead of the Mono cult once again the ancient Egyptian gods were used, called Tut changed his name. So he sat down instead of the god Aton the god Amun´s in his name.

Dabei war er einer der unbedeutendsten Pharaonen überhaupt, weil er sehr jung verstarb (warscheinlich mit 18 Jahren). Er schaut sehr stolz hier, wundervolles Portrait!
