Description
Those who wondered why the street was covered with shavings, now can understand. It was for the ox parade, when people from the countryside came to parade with thei oxen with or without old-fashioned carts. Also the yokes are very old-looking, inspired by 18th century prints and paintings, as it is the costume of the leader of this group, who seems escaped from one of Goya's paintings.

An excellent scene and photo. I guess there was also music included by the parade. At first, I thought that there where leaves on the street. Thanks for telling this is shaving.
