Sunset from the pier at St Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Was hoping a visit to Melbourne would bring me inspiration - turns out I still don't "get" street photography, but I did get the novelty of shooting a sunset from a west-facing beach!
(To clarify - I live on the East coast of Australia, near several lovely beaches. I can see the sun rise over a beach any time I like, but it's novel to me to watch it set. Actually, because I live on the east face of a large hill, it's novel to watch to the sun set at all!)

Wow amazing capture! I love the intense colours of the natural backdrop, and the dark contrast and sharp lines of the sillhouette in the foreground. Beautiful print worthy shot- thanks for sharing! :) And have you checked out the Photography Story Challenge? Go continue the story!
