Description

......................... It's not what you think....she's in distress, but it's allergies. I've been a prisoner to ragweed for over a month...can't step outside, can't mow or do yardwork.....without sneezing and all that....ART has kept me sane (at least I think I'm sane). I wanted this image to be about water....in the pool, in the background, flowing over the steps. The pool water was done right in Poser, using a water image that I'd done in Vue. I've just bought PS CS5, mainly so I could use Ron's Water brushes. It's hard not to get too carried away with them, because they are amazing. I used one of the waterfall brushes to do the water cascading down the steps....so cool. ..............................................

I have to say I was surprised at the title and image but after reading it made sense :) Still, it's heavenly and your postwork really enhances the scene! I also like the depth in the background. As for the allergy, I can empathize - I'm allergic to pine and can't stroll through many beautiful forests we have.

Great image sweetie I was that prisoner a week or so ago myself with allergies...rarely ever bothers me but it sure did that week for some reason...so glad it stopped...Thank you lord... Oh on a sad note....my cousin Carolyn who's hubby had cancer...he passed away Monday night at home around 11pm....she told my son in between hysterics and crying...went to the funeral home for family visitation at 5pmTues..stayed until 9or9:30...planned to go the next day I was in such pain I couldn't walk....hubby was a pallbearer but he got called in to for one interview and take a test...he told them he was a pallbearer at a funeral...they told him they had pulled his file and if he left he left the prospect of a $12hr job..took the test and passed it now got to take a TABE test at night...then one more interview and hopefully he is hired.........hated not to be there for my cousin but i have been in such pain every since I went....so sorry for the novel but thought you would want to know...plz keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers....... And once again an awesome image..... Hugs Susan~

Susan...my allergies seem absolutely small...nothing really in light of what you're going through. Glad your allergies passed quickly, maybe there's hope....

It's really hard to create realistic looking water, but Damn, you have more than accomplished that here...and I wish I could join her because that pool looks really inviting :-)

you did a top notch job on the water with those brushes--very realistic. of course, your vue scene rocks :) though, your lovely little gal, she really does look quite forlorn. i thought at first you were in a non-stop rain situation like we have here in nyc...it has been dreadful--going on three week now with rain each day, sometimes all day. anyway, i fully feel your discomfort with the allergies--i suffer most of the year from them...the only months i am free of them are a dec-feb...a real drag. i keep saying i am moving to the antarctic ;) should be coming to end soon--we just need that first frost...
