Description

Another image from my early years in photography. This shot was taken just off the road between Salt Lake City, Utah and Pocatello, Idaho in 1972 on Kodak Ektachrome 64. Shot just before sunset the redish light emphasized the colors in the flowers and tinges the clouds. Five minutes after I took this shot the skies openned up and we had heavy rain for the next two hours. Enjoy

Gorgeous and dramatic colors and atmosphere! I love storms and now that we are in a drought that is predicted to last for at least another year, I've become a bit obsessive about them. Wonderful sky and capture!
