There's something happy and there's something sad About loving somebody .. Oh, so bad ... Honey, I don't wanna clip your wings But a time comes when two people should think of these things Having a home and a family Facing up to their responsibilities They say in the end true love prevails But in the end true love can't be some fairytale To say "I'll make your dreams come true" would be wrong But maybe, darlin', I could help them along ... —SpringsteenYeah .. there's something about a pretty girl on a sweet autumn afternoon that gets this boy excited ... This is Tatiana. & Today is her birthday. Yesterday she did not exist .. not, at least, on this plane. Today she smiles and sighs .. do take my word on the sighs. Last night I set out to develop a new character based on someone within a story I am currently working on. As I have mentioned several times, I develop character portraits as inspirational images which assist in my writing. The walls where I write are densely populated with framed portrayals .. each one a distinctive source of inspiration for one story's telling or another. Not long into the development process last night I begin to feel the pressure of some other persona wanting to come through and take form. A couple of focused, but timeless, hours later Tatiana began smiling .. as you see above. Presently I do not believe she is related to any story I am working on .. but we'll have to see what she has to say about that. That I am presently smitten with her is rather obvious, I imagine. I ask, in defense perhaps, has this not ever happened to you .. and if not .. can you, perhaps, understand my infatuation? ;-) May you find equal .. or superior .. inspiration this weekend and may the process bring you great pleasure!
