This was taken a few days ago on my walk in this neighborhood. Hope you find it acceptable. :)

Had the most adorable weather today and warmest for this time of the year, since I dont know :)
It was odd to sit outside drinking coffee in October.

If you look at these directly from the top, then they look like cookies. They look like cookies here, only on stalks...maybe they're wild, woodland cookies? OK...maybe not. I think I have the cookie image in my head because of their color. They have that nice golden brown color and it's a perfect contrast to the grass. It makes the photo seem more open, if that makes any sense. The details are so nice, and for fungi, they look almost like velvet or something soft. This is fabulous!
