What an amazing image; I love the golden tones and the wonderful touches of other colors. The textures are amazing! In short, this is a fantastic work/collaboration. Ah...and I still owe you email! I got tied up with stuff so I'm catching up today...after I eat...one must eat you know and I'm more than a little peckish. Oh, and what does any of that have to do with this image? NOTHING! But that's how I am at times...I love a good ramble, especially if it amounts to something, which often, rambles don't. But anyway, I love what you've come up with in terms of this shot...it actually reminds me of a Ray Bradbury story: "Tall They Were, and Golden Eyed" was the title, if I remember it correctly: it was a part of his Martian Chronicles, though it might actually have appeared in another book all together. I always think of those tall, golden-eyed people whenever I see images like this. I think it's the color association, especially, but also the serene elegance. I especially like that we don't actually see the woman's face...that's nicely mysterious and evokes a whole range of different, deeper emotions. Well, for me it does. This is great!

Wow, this is a really smashing comosition Monica. I love the utter starkness of it and yet it has such beautiful elements in it. You did great job on playing with your color pallette.

Jeeeeez. You really have quite the delightful knack for delivering the viewer to an unexpected destination from the appearance of the thumb. Such a unique vision, this one.
