I received a slight reprimand for not adding info to my last photo. Sorry about that... The Whooping Crane is the tallest flying North American bird. It averages about 5 ft in height and a wingspan up to 8 ft. They are being reintroduced back into Wisconsin. sightings are rare enough that they request you report sightings. I reported this sighting and they were able to identify these birds from my photos. They are a breeding pair. One was born in 2008 and the other in 2007. Thanks for the view...
