Well...as i said this was made for a competition in a forum...it should be a short story so this is the end...but...perhaps in the future i can make a development for it... who knows ;D
Already arranged, William began his story.
"Well milady, you asked how I know you ...
would be difficult to explain without first tell you about my 'gimmick' "
he said with a grin.
"My 'gimmick' is more than just a ship ... is a research vehicle ...
What it researches? You would ask: ...
well ... something that has always fascinated me, the history ....
and what better way to know that being in every moment in the right place "
Eleanor's face reflected his astonishment again
"You mean ... ....?"
"Yes my lady .. is a machine for time travel ...
I know that your father also had his theories about it "
"But how you know ...?"
"No, do not panic, I have not been watching you....
the information I have is through books and newspapers "
"Then you ...."
"I am a time traveler ... but really not from a too distant future, my lady"
Eleanor did not know what to think, yes, her father had some theories about time travel ...
but that .. who was that man, and what was his interest on her?.
"Go on .... I beg you," said Eleanor.
"... willingly milady .your aircraft was an inspiration to me since childhood ...
Its invention is described in the books as a milestone in the history ...
your father is mentioned as the inventor and you as a partner ...
finally you both got the recognition that his work .. and yours, deserved "
These words produced a feeling of satisfaction in Eleanor,
William went ... now with a serious expression
"But something that always gave me a desolate feeling
which led me to interfere with the natural time´s line ....
was your death in the storm "
Eleanor jumped
"Did you mean ... I would have died in the storm?"
Eleanor said shocked
"You really did .... In my past, but .... I could not let it happen ...
That was really the reason that led me to build my 'gadget' ...

William, visibly moved, looked down trying to compose his expression,
finally got it, not without effort.
Eleanor looked at him with a mixture of admiration and gratitude.
"But then .... I owe you my life! "said Eleanor
"No! Not owe me anything ... do not misunderstand me my lady ... I expect nothing from you ...
all I would ask humbly as a favor, would be your friendship "
William said, not daring to look at her, fearing a negative response
"Of course you have it .. unconditionally ... you have earned it so far milord"
Eleanor said with a smile
"Moreover, I hope you help me to finally return home to
put the name of my father in the right place and to publicize his work "
"I will .... If it is what you want"
said William looking at her with a cheerful expression.

A few days later, in every newspaper it could be read the news
about the success of the invention by Lord Greenway and
Lady Eleanor his daughter ....
and a brief pointing to a possible compromise of her
with a mysterious gentleman.
