Description

Canon EOS t3i with 50mm Minolta lens mounted backward with Fotodiox extension tubes. I'm trying to get this macro thing down, but it is a tough nut to crack! (I think it is time to invest in a bitchen flash.)

Fascinating structure, nicely lit & framed. BTW, by pure coincidence, I just posted a photo called "Sleepy Bear"...

WOW! I rarely see these up close and so clearly! Egg cases are so intriguing to me...usually because they look like the sorts of things science fiction nerds appreciate more than is probably healthy. I love the sort of corn-on-the-cob look this has, and the color is quite superb. Really great work. Macros are such a fun challenge: they always reward you in proportion to the amount of work you've put into them, and this is one macro to be quite proud of.
